List the night. Keep the guest list yours.
Munches, play parties, club nights, workshops. List them on Coywink for members only, set the rules at the door, and let every guest choose who sees them going. Listing is free. Running a group is free.
Promotion, partnerships, a feature you need: one email to support@coywink.com.
This is the event page your guests will see.
With notes on the parts organizers ask about first.
- Members, friends, or your group.
Event pages sit behind sign-in. Open yours to every member, only your friends, or only your group.
- The area, not the address.
The page shows the location you type. Send the address to your guests in messages.
- Your rules come first.
House rules sit above the RSVP button, so guests see them before they say yes.
- New accounts wait.
Set a minimum account age. Anyone newer than that can’t RSVP.
- Each guest picks who sees them.
Host only, all attendees, their friends, or private. Host only is the default.
- Blocked means blocked.
Someone you have blocked can’t RSVP or see who is going.
The same event, from where each person stands.
Most of what organizers ask us comes down to one question: who can see this? Here is the answer.
Someone without an account
Nothing but a login screen. Event pages sit behind sign-in, so search engines and passers-by never see them.
A member who finds it
The title, the day, the area you wrote, your house rules, and only the guests who chose to be seen.
You, the host
Everyone who is coming, whatever they picked. Their choice decides what other guests see, never what you see.
Play parties are a category here, not a policy violation.
Pick the kind when you list it. Members filter the events page by kind, area and date.
- Munch
- Play party
- Club night
- House party
- Workshop
- Travel
- Vanilla meetup
- Online
A group that runs on your rules.
For the community between events. Anyone can start one, and the people who start it run it.
- Write the group’s house rules.
- Make trusted members moderators.
- Ban who needs banning.
- Host events only your members can see.
- Post to the group between nights.
Questions organizers ask.
Can people outside Coywink see my event?
No. Event pages are for signed-in members, and you can narrow a listing to your friends or your group.
Can I see who is coming if they hide their RSVP?
Yes. Guests choose what other guests see. The host always sees everyone.
Can I keep brand-new accounts out?
Yes. Set a minimum account age when you list the event, and newer accounts can’t RSVP.
Do you sell tickets or take a cut?
No. Listing events and running groups is free, and there are no payments in Coywink yet. If your nights need ticketing, write to us.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancel from the event page and everyone who RSVP’d sees it marked Cancelled. Message your guests if you want to tell them why.
Promotion, a home for your community, a feature your nights need. It starts with one email.
