Coywink is a private social network for couples, singles and the swinger and lifestyle scene. If you are weighing an SDC alternative, here is what carries over, what changes, and what we do not have yet.

- Every profile is a person who signed up. Activity shows as today or this week, never a number we made up, and nothing is seeded to look busy.

- Filter Discover to couples, and to people active today. A message from anyone who is not already a match or a friend waits in requests until you say yes.

- You each get your own account, your own password and your own privacy settings. A couple links the two by invite, and other members see you on one card, together.

- City and region only. Distances are city to city, the app never reads your phone’s location, and the location data cameras hide inside photos is stripped before upload.

- There are no paid tiers yet. Create an account, look around, and if it is not for you, one page in your settings deletes everything.
What you will recognise
The things a couple comes to a lifestyle site for are here, in the shape you expect.
- Couple profiles, with both of you on one card and each field’s audience your own call.
- People and couples near you, by city, filtered to who is active.
- Events: club nights, parties and meetups by city, with an RSVP you choose who can see.
- A venue directory: swinger clubs, lifestyle resorts and sex-positive venues by country and city, where nobody pays to rank.
- Private messages, encrypted in transit and at rest, never mined.
What we do not have yet
Said here so you do not have to find out after signing up.
- A native iOS app. The phone experience is the installable web app, with notifications.
- Travel and party booking. We list venues and events; we do not sell tickets or trips.
- Paid tiers. There are none yet; everything on the platform is open to every member.
- A crowd. The room is new and real, which means quieter than a site that has been open for years.
Questions people ask before switching
Do we share one account?
No. You each get your own, with your own password and privacy settings. A couple or poly pod links them, so you appear together where you want to.
Who can see that we are going to a party?
You choose when you RSVP: everyone attending, your friends, only the host, or no one.
Does it cost anything?
Not today. There are no paid tiers yet, so creating an account and using the platform is open to everyone. Paid extras may come later.
Can we delete everything?
Yes. One page in your settings deletes the account and what you posted. Each of you decides for your own account.
